End User Licence Agreement

This licence is between you and Trill Brands LLP, India (LLPIN AAV-7834), which makes Glimpo ("we", "us"). It covers the Glimpo desktop app, the Glimpo hub (on a computer, Raspberry Pi, NAS, server or Docker), the Glimpo mobile and web apps, and their updates (together, the "Software"). By installing, copying or using the Software you agree to it. If you don't agree, don't install or use the Software.

The Glimpo Terms of Service (https://glimpo.si/terms) and Privacy Policy (https://glimpo.si/privacy) also apply. Where this licence and the Terms differ about the Software itself, this licence applies.

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Software on devices you own or control, for your own home or organisation, within the limits of your Glimpo plan or free trial. The Software is licensed, not sold. We keep all rights we don't expressly grant, including all copyright and other intellectual property in the Software.

2. What you may not do

Except as this licence or applicable law expressly allows, you may not: a. copy, modify, translate or create derivative works of the Software, except for one backup copy; b. reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software, or try to obtain its source code; c. remove, disable or work around licence checks, plan limits, integrity checks or other technical protections, or use the Software with a plan, key or token not issued to you; d. rent, lease, sell, sublicense, distribute or host the Software for others, or publish modified copies of it; e. remove or change copyright, trademark or licence notices; f. use the Software to access cameras, accounts, hubs or networks that aren't yours, or in breach of any law, including laws on privacy, recording and consent. Where the law of your country gives you a right that can't be excluded by contract (for example, to decompile for interoperability, or to make a back-up copy), nothing here takes it away.

3. Your data

Your video, snapshots and camera credentials stay on your hub and in the storage you choose. We don't receive them. What the Software sends us, and why, is described in the Privacy Policy and at https://glimpo.si/privacy. This includes a minimal report when the Software detects that its own files were modified; it identifies the build and platform, not you or your hub.

4. Modified copies

The Software checks that its own files are as we built them. If they have been modified, paid plans won't work on that copy until it is reinstalled from https://unicam.si/dl. Your cameras and recordings are not affected.

5. Third-party software

The Software includes open-source components (such as FFmpeg, go2rtc, Electron and Node.js packages) licensed under their own terms, listed in THIRD_PARTY.md. Those terms apply to those components and take precedence where they give you more rights.

6. Updates

We may provide updates. Some may be needed to keep using cloud features such as remote access, Glimpses and notifications.

7. Termination

This licence ends automatically if you breach it, or when you stop using the Software and delete it. When it ends, uninstall the Software. Sections 2, 3, 8, 9 and 10 survive.

8. No warranty

To the fullest extent the law allows, the Software is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Glimpo is not an alarm or emergency service; recording and alerts can fail or be delayed.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability is limited as set out in the Terms of Service. Nothing in this licence limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

10. Law

This licence is governed by the laws of India, subject to any mandatory consumer law of the country where you live. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction, as in the Terms of Service.

11. Trademarks

"Glimpo" and the Glimpo logo are trademarks of Trill Brands LLP. This licence gives you no right to use them. Other brand names belong to their owners.
